DECA is a co-curricular program aligned to the CTE Marketing course program. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Students in DECA complete community service projects and can compete in district, state and national competitions.

A few examples of our community service projects include: The Biggest Turkey – collecting non-perishable items in November for Mercy Mall making goody bags for the teachers and staff at Cosby crafting valentines for future Titans on the competition side: District Leadership Conference takes place at the Chesterfield Towne Center in January; State Leadership Conference is in Virginia Beach in March; ICDC changes locations each year and is held in April.

We generally meet once a month, after school, for about 45 minutes. Those who wish to compete will meet more often for competition prep.
