Get answers to questions about college

Focused on a row of students during graduation ceremony.
  • What is a reach school, a competitive school and a safety school?
  • What’s the Common App? What’s the Coalition App?
  • What is the difference between early action, early decision, rolling admission and open admission?

Get answers to these questions and more during college application assistance events organized by Chesterfield County Public Schools, Chesterfield County Public Library and GRASP. These free 10 a.m.-noon Saturday sessions for high school seniors and families will take place at the Central Library (7051 Lucy Corr Blvd.). Registration is required; register here today for the session that fits your schedule:

  • Oct. 22
  • Nov. 12

During the in-person events, GRASP representatives will discuss financing options including scholarships. Other experts will offer tips for writing admission essays, securing letters of recommendation and building a resume with academics plus extracurricular activities. Additionally, you can submit ideas and questions you have using this simple form.
