Lauren Kern is dedicated to her craft and believes each student in her classroom is capable of their best each day. As a former elementary teacher within Chesterfield County Public Schools, she has a wealth of knowledge to share with her sixth grade team. She leads, loves and makes each student feel their best daily through instruction or her voice of encouragement. Her heart is big for the community in which she lives and teaches.
Without question, Kristina Armstead is one of the most tireless educators at Midlothian Middle School. This powerhouse teacher has been educating young minds for more than 23 years, yet she still has a sparkle in her eye for each and every child she encounters. Kristina has the uncanny ability to foster positive relationships with almost every child she teaches and that investment in each child consistently yields positive results, especially in her classroom expectations. In addition, Kristina regularly works with students after school to bolster their academic areas of weakness, sponsors a club and — simply put — is an exceptional educator.
