The boys soccer team at Matoaca Middle is all about preparing the athletes to play soccer at the high school level, including the physical, mental, and social aspects of the game.

The boys soccer team has won 1 championship.

For the upcoming 2022-23 school year. The boys soccer team plays in the fall so tryouts for the team will start at 2:30pm on Monday August 29th. Anyone who is interested will meet me on that day in room 107 next to the cafeteria. Pickup will be at the soccer field located at the back of the building.

Our season this fall starts on September 15th and ends on October 24th, unless the team makes the playoffs.

Tryouts will begin on Monday August 29th through September 1st. Any athlete wanting to tryout must have their physicals turned in as well as concussion forms turned in. Both can be found in the main office of the East building. According the VHSL rules, any athlete trying out must have passed at least 5 classes from the previous semester to be eligible to play. Athletes must bring their own water, cleats, and shin guards for tryouts.
