First day of school

All pre-K and kindergarten students will attend school during the first week; however, there will be a staggered schedule for students.

Some students will attend July 18 and 19; others will attend July 20-21. This will allow students to become more familiar with their new surroundings in a smaller classroom setting.

All pre-K and kindergarten students will report to school daily starting July 22.

July 18 is the first day for all students in grades 1-5.

Intersessions

Intersessions are held quarterly throughout the calendar. These are not days when students are required to attend; however, they may be recommended to attend. Academic support and enrichment opportunities are offered during this time. Additional information is available at the school.

First day of school

Elementary schools:

• Aug. 22, is the first day for all students in grades pre-K–5.
• All pre-K and kindergarten students will attend school during the first week; however, there will be a staggered schedule for students.
  • Some students will attend Aug. 22-23; others will attend Aug. 24-25. (Schools will assign students to specific days.) This will allow students to become more familiar with their new surroundings in a smaller classroom setting.
  • All pre-K and kindergarten students will report to school daily starting Aug. 26.

Middle and high schools:

• Aug. 22 is the first day for sixth- and ninth-grade students only.
  • This will allow for a successful transition of students moving from one school level to another, and will allow staff members to begin to build relationships and share expectations.
• All other middle and high school students will start school Aug. 23.
