Library

Students are scheduled for checkout once every three to four weeks through their Language Arts class.
Students may come independently for checkout, research, make-up work, and/or book selection between classes, before and after school, or with a pass from a teacher during the class period.
Students can renew their books at any time from their Chromebooks via the Library Catalog site under the My Account tab using their username (student ID number) and password (last 4 digits of their student ID number).
Classroom teachers also schedule time for instruction and research in the library.

Parent Notifications

Through the student dashboard (my.ccpsnet.net), all parents can access their students’ library accounts via the CCPS library catalog tool. Also, parents may choose to opt in to receive an email when their student checks out a book. The email will include title, checkout date and due date. Here is how parents may opt in:

In the menu on the right, click the checkout notifications link.
Fill out the Google form to opt in for checkout notifications.

The process for opting in to parental notifications is also communicated annually with the start of school information and can be updated at any time.
