Anthony J. McLaurin, Ed.D. is excited to return to The Castle as Principal of Thomas Dale High School! Dr. McLaurin has been an educator for seventeen years. He began his administrative career in 2012 as Dean of Students at Thomas Dale High School. He later served as an Assistant Principal in Richmond Public schools and returned to Thomas Dale as an Assistant Principal. Dr. McLaurin is proud to serve as the first African American Principal in TDHS history. He graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science earned both a Master’s degree and Doctorate of Education from Virginia State University. Dr. McLaurin and his wife Takeya have three children, A.J., Camren and Noah, two of whom attend Thomas Dale and the youngest in the feeder pattern. Dr. McLaurin is a Board Member with the Chester YMCA, Chair of the Chesterfield County Juneteenth Steering Committee and supporter of numerous community organizations. He loves to attend live sporting events, spending time with family and perfecting recipes on the barbecue grill in his free time. Dr. McLaurin believes that engagement is the key to ensuring an outstanding high school experience for all students and plans to collaborate with the TDHS team to support every Knight every day.

Following approximately 14 years of experience in Retail, Human Resources and Program Management, Mrs. Lee entered the field of education as a Technical Communications Teacher. Since that time, she has acquired extensive experience as a Marketing Teacher, a Department Chair, a Dean of Students and currently, as an Assistant Principal. Mrs. Lee attended Virginia State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in May 1986. She obtained a Master of Education Degree in Administration and Supervision in May 2015. Mrs. Lee is married to Dallas T. Lee whom she met while studying for her Bachelor degree at Virginia State, they are the parents of three children (now adults).
Dr. Jeanine Grabham has 26 years in education, all in Chesterfield County Public Schools. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary, a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University, and an Ed.D. in Leadership also from Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to becoming an administrator, Dr. Grabham taught Chemistry for 16 years. She is married to Scott Grabham and they are the proud parents of three children.

Mrs. Clark has 13 years in education, all in CCPS. Her first 9 years were here at Thomas Dale and she has returned this year. SHe has obtained a Bachelor of Arts (History) – University of Virginia, a Master of Teaching (Social Studies) – Curry School at the University of Virginia, and a Post-Master’s in Administration and Supervision – Virginia Commonwealth University. Elizabeth “Beth” Clark
Mrs. Hicks has 14 years of experience in education in Chesterfield County Public Schools at the secondary level. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from James Madison University, a MT in Teaching Secondary English from Virginia Commonwealth University, and an endorsement in Administration and Supervision from Virginia State University.
Mr. Millner is originally from Danville, Va. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology from Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, Va. Next he completed his Exceptional Education requirements at Virginia Union University. He went onto Regent University to receive his Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership.
Mr. Millner has been in education for over 20 years. Since leaving the classroom as an exceptional education teacher, he has served as an instructional leader in Henrico County and West Point Public Schools.
In his spare time, you will find him cheering for his favorite college team (Go Tarheels), spending quality time with his son and reading.
Catherine Mazzola has 12 years of experience teaching high school French. She taught at the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School, Midlothian High School, and the Virginia Governor’s French Language Academy. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in French from Virginia Commonwealth University and is completing a master’s degree program in Administration and Supervision at the University of Virginia. Catherine is married to Jason Mazzola and together they have a lab, a beagle, and a cat named Meow.

Allen B Lewis, Jr. is a native of Philadelphia, PA. After finishing his undergraduate degree in English at Kean University in New Jersey, he relocated to Richmond, VA. Allen spent the former part of his time in the job force as a corporate recruiter, however, he later found his calling as a teacher. He obtained his Master of Education Degree from Liberty University. Throughout his educational career as an English teacher, he has also served in various leadership positions. He is very active in his local faith-based assembly as a clergy member, musician (bass guitar), and in other leadership roles. Allen enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and traveling. He, his wife Sonia, their two children and spouses, and three granddaughters are residents of Henrico County. Allen is a strong proponent of the benefits of education and is dedicated to doing all he can to support the students of Thomas Dale High School.
