Night School

Program Overview:

Night School provides high school students the opportunity to complete and earn high
school credits for free in the evening. Students engage in intense academic study to complete a
traditional year-long course in a single semester. Please note that students not present on the first night
of their class will be unenrolled to allow students on the waitlist to attend.

The First Night of Classes:

Monday, February 3rd (Monday/Wednesday classes)
Tuesday, February 4th (Tuesday/Thursday classes)

Attendance Policy:

Due to the accelerated nature of the program, students will be withdrawn with a failing
grade after five unexcused absences. Classes start promptly at 5:00 p.m. and all students must be picked
up at 9:00 p.m. Absences and tardiness will be closely monitored. Arriving tardy or
leaving early three times equals one absence. Students will receive a tardy for every 10 minutes
after 9:20 p.m. that they are still on school premises. With the tardy and attendance policy in mind,
please arrange reliable transportation.

Student Breaks:

There will be a break in instruction at 6:15 p.m. and again at 7:45 p.m. Students are
encouraged to either bring food to eat during a break or bring money to purchase items. Students may
not order food to be delivered to school. During breaks, students are not permitted to leave school
grounds.
