Welcome to Falling Creek Elementary School

Our History

The initial section of the school was built for 600 students in 1964. During the following three years, there was tremendous population growth in the community. An additional section consisting of eight classrooms and two large rooms with a canopied play area for a pilot kindergarten was built. The construction of a six-room pod area, which is the present kindergarten, was completed in the fall of 1968. A comprehensive library and complete gymnasium were completed in 1984.

We currently have regular classroom teachers plus specialists in the areas of Physical Education, Music, Reading, Math, Art, Library Science, Mentally Disabled, Learning Disabled, Emotionally Disabled, Autism, Title 1, English as a Second Language, and Speech Pathology. In addition, we have a school Psychologist, Guidance Counselor, Public Health Nurse, and a School Social Worker.
