Library Advisory Group

Students will meet with one or both of the librarians several times during the school year to serve as consultants. They will provide suggestions and feedback on most if not all aspects of the library program. This group is for students who are interested in assisting the library staff in fulfilling the mission of the library program, which is “to empower students to become critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users/creators of information in a global environment.”

Projects and activities are determined by the group, but may include library displays, events, policy input and more.

The group meets approximately once a month.

Student participation is by application in the fall.
