Arianne Hayes, Principal

As a former elementary and high school special education teacher, dean of students, associate principal, and elementary principal here in Chesterfield County know that I have the knowledge and skills to work collaboratively with our school community. Midlothian has a storied tradition of academic excellence, and supports our local and global for those in need and is also a National School to Watch. Midlothian Middle School is a community of innovative, engaged and resilient learners empowered by strong relationships. Comment start I can assure you that all of our students, staff and administration embody an Infinite Learner Mindset, and your family will feel safe and supported within our school community.

I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia but currently reside in Midlothian with my family.  I am currently completing my doctoral capstone work in Educational Administration and Supervision through Walden University. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, Gabby Rose 5, Adrian 3, and my supportive husband who also serves the local community within the fire department. We enjoy art projects, books, traveling to the beach and a movie night at home.  My personal hobbies include reading, working out, relaxing by ANY body of water and connecting with loved ones.

As we set the stage for the 2022-2023 school year, it is imperative that we put in the work, remain engaged, remain supportive of one another and remain collaborative caregivers.  Together, we will enable our students to thrive beyond Midlothian Middle School and become critical-thinking global citizens. Every parent is encouraged to become a member of the Midlothian Team by joining the PTO, attending school events, and/or being a volunteer. Together, we can make a positive impact! If you need anything from me please feel free to contact me via email @arianne_hayes@ccpsnet.net or by phone at 804-378-2460.

Yours in Education

Headshot of Allie Redo

Allie Redd, Dean of Students

I am a NoVA native. I attended Prince William County public schools, earned my Bachelors and Master’s degrees at George Mason University, and taught fifth grade for five years before moving to Chesterfield. The move to Chesterfield brought a lot of adventure and new beginnings. My daughter, Cameron, was born prematurely as I started my first year teaching fourth grade at Watkins Elementary and achieved National Boards Certification in Middle Childhood (7-12 year olds). I went on to open Old Hundred Elementary in its founding year as a fourth grade teacher, and eventually transitioned to teaching K-5 STEAM resource.

I’m passionate about building a sense of community and a love for learning, whether it be from all life has to offer or in the classroom. I’m finishing my Master’s in Administration and Supervision through the University of Virginia, as I start my journey in Middle School and as a CCPS parent, now that Cameron is starting Kindergarten! Outside of school Cameron and I enjoy taking our Lab-Pit mix, Kali, on adventures, being outside, crafting, and creating! I’m looking forward to being a Mustang and continuing to grow and learn with and from our amazing students and community!
