Chesterfield County Public Schools student Walker W. won the regional spelling bee sponsored by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. The Salem Church Middle eighth grader correctly spelled “egress” to outlast 22 other students from schools throughout central Virginia. Walker will represent central Virginia in the national spelling bee in May.
