Dr. Robin Riley, Principal

It is a privilege to be part of the Weaver Family, serving as the principal since 2018. Previously, I served as the assistant principal at Greenfield and Winterpock Elementary Schools, and I have taught both fourth and fifth grades.  I have lived in Chesterfield County for the majority of my life and am a proud graduate of Chesterfield County Public Schools. I attended Virginia Commonwealth University where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s of Teaching degree, and a Post-Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I am also a proud Hokie and attended Virginia Tech for my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy. I enjoy cheering on the RAMS and the Hokies!

I have a son at Longwood, a daughter at Virginia Tech, and a large extended family that I  spend as much time with as possible. When not busy with my family and our Weaver Bluebirds, I love to read, walk, and relax by the water.

I look forward to continuing to grow Weaver by partnering with the community, families and staff to provide the best possible learning experiences for our students while inspiring them to become lifelong learners.

With Weaver Pride & Go Ranger House!

About Mrs. Whaley:

Mrs. Whaley has had the privilege of working in schools in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia where she has gained extensive knowledge in elementary education. One of her most unique experiences was teaching in the Mooresville Graded School District in North Carolina which is a nationally recognized digital school system whose motto is Every Child, Every Day.

This has become a personal motto for Mrs. Whaley who believes that together we can truly make a difference in the lives of our students as we teach the whole child and prepare our students for life in a global society. In her spare time, Mrs. Whaley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, walking or just sitting on the beach soaking up the sunshine.
