Don’t underestimate the importance of having fun participating in school activities. Some of the best times and memories students have are the experiences of belonging to a club or participating in an after school activity. Clubs and activities are important to join just for the enjoyment that they will bring to most students, but they also allow the students to more easily make friends because the groups are small and they get to be themselves!

Clubs and activities provide students with many positive experiences that help them to become well-rounded individuals who are ready for college or the workplace. It helps students to become active in their school and to feel a connection the school and to others. It provides a sense of pride and school spirit and it is a positive influence on our youth today.

Battle of the Books

Open to 4th and 5th grade students who read the books on the annual list. The competition team is comprised of 5th grade students who compete against students from other local schools. Girls on the Run

GOTR is a character building program for girls in grades 3-5, run through Girls on the Run Greater Richmond. Coaches facilitate lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development. At the end of the season, participants complete a service project as well as participate in a 5K. This program runs from February to May. Head Coach: Catherine Kotalo, catherine_kotalo@ccpsnet.net 

L8R G8RS

A variety of clubs and activities run by our PTO, including Rock Wall Climbing, Drama Club, Soccer, and other areas of interest. Held once a week in the spring. Sponsor: Enon PTO, enonelempto@gmail.com 

Safety Patrol

A program for 5th graders to exhibit leadership skills through service in the building. Sponsor: Joshua Williams, joshua_williams@ccpsnet.net

SCA (Student Council Association)

A service opportunity for students in grades 3-5. Class representatives are chosen by their classmates. Students complete service projects and assist with various activities around the school. Sponsor: Meredith Capece, meredith_capece@ccpsnet.net

Gator Mart

A school store for students to trade in their school PRIDE slips for items such as pencils, erasers, keychains, notepads, and other small items. Students have the opportunity to attend once monthly. Sponsor: School Counseling Department/Front Office ees_mail@ccpsnet.net
