Chesterfield County Public Schools is growing: 64,000 students at last count. We’re an award-winning school system known throughout Virginia and the nation for having high standards and doing what is right for children. A strong public education system benefits everyone in Chesterfield County, and we want all residents to be proud of Chesterfield schools. The CCPS on the Go community newsletter offers a peek into local schools. The newsletter began in 2021 as a printed publication that was mailed three times a year to every home in Chesterfield County. The award-winning publication shifted to a digital format in the fall of 2024. The final edition was published in the spring of 2025.
