Title IX
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects people from discrimination based on sex/gender in education programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance.
Title IX states:
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex/gender, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

Employees of Chesterfield County Public Schools who respond to Title IX complaints are required to participate in training on effectively responding to complaints based on their role in the process.

Title IX Form
As per School Board Policy 6131, this form may be completed and submitted to the school site Title IX Coordinator if you have witnessed, been informed of, or been a part of a sexual harassment situation. If you prefer, in lieu of completing the form, you may contact the Title IX Building Level Coordinator directly to discuss any concern and to allow them to assist you with the reporting process. The form may also be submitted to either of the Title IX Coordinators at the division level. The form is linked to the button on the right.
