Champion Card

Meet the new Champion Card!

The Super Senior Passport is expanding to become the Champion Card.

  • What’s the same: Senior residents of Chesterfield County continue to be eligible. Retirees of Chesterfield County Public Schools continue to be eligible. The new card is still free and still offers free admission to some activities at schools.

  • What’s different: Dedicated school partners and volunteers are now eligible. The new card will feature a photo of the cardholder. Champion Card holders will regularly receive information about school opportunities and may be invited to special events.

Who can apply

The Champion Card is designed for

  • Chesterfield County residents who are at least 60 years old

  • Retirees of Chesterfield County Public Schools

  • Partners whose work directly benefits Chesterfield County students, such as leaders of faith communities and dedicated volunteers with CCPS partners

Apply for a champion card

To apply for a Champion Card, you must visit one of our in-person sign-up sessions listed below.

Sign-up sessions

Conveniently located sign-up sessions are scheduled so that senior residents, CCPS retirees and school partners can have their photo taken and printed on their Champion Card and can provide their email address to allow Chesterfield County Public Schools to stay in touch.

  • Upcoming sign-up session dates will be announced here.

Temporary card

Senior residents, CCPS retirees and school partners may apply online for a temporary Champion Card. The temporary card will work for a limited time, so you still must attend a sign-up session to get your permanent card.

Group sign-up sessions

Groups and organizations that would like to host a sign-up session for their members are invited to contact the Office of Family and Community Engagement at 804-348-8069.

Become a school volunteer

Volunteers are welcome in Chesterfield County Public Schools. Sharing your life experiences, memories, knowledge or friendship with a young person can make a difference. Some seniors spend one or two days a week listening to students read, helping in the school library, being a lunch buddy or mentor or assisting in other ways.

To volunteer, fill out this volunteer application and contact the principal or volunteer coordinator at the school you’re interested in.
