Title IX

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects people from discrimination based on sex/gender in education programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance.

Title IX states:

No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex/gender, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

Title IX Training

Employees of Chesterfield County Public Schools who respond to Title IX complaints are required to participate in training on effectively responding to complaints based on their role in the process. Below is the most recent training provided to CCPS employees who are involved in Title IX response:
