Mrs. Coker recognized Principal Appreciation Week and thanked the principals on behalf of the Board for their hard work and dedication.
The following bus drivers were recognized for their outstanding performance:

The following food service employees were recognized for their outstanding performance:
- Patience Dawn Cary, Cafeteria Manager at James River HS, 6 years of service
- Gloria Mason, Food Service Associate at Manchester MS, 6 years of service
- Christine Stroud, Cafeteria Manager at Bailey Bridge MS, 21 years of service
- Pearl Wilson, Food Service Associate at Matoaca ES, 50 years of service

Board Actions
The School Board elected Mrs. Ann Coker as the School Board Chair and Mrs. Kathryn Haines as the School Board Vice Chair for 2023.
The Board also set its 2023 meeting calendar (attached).
