Swift Creek Middle social studies teacher Pam Plahs is one of two teachers selected for a summer fellowship at the Valentine museum. The fellowship provides central Virginia teachers professional development experiences as they create engaging programs for the 15,000 students who visit the Valentine each year. Plahs will help develop programs based on the Valentine’s collection, assess existing programs and support teacher workshops over the summer.
