The first-ever El Librotazo lived up to its name, which was coined to mean “big and important event centered on books.” Chesterfield County Public Schools families from every ZIP code in the county turned out July 9 to select free books printed in 18 different languages. They also enjoyed food, games and community connections despite the heat. Thanks to support by the Chesterfield Education Foundation and Dominion Energy, El Librotazo was free for families.
